Johnson Air helps Touchmark deliver green comfort

In 2010, Johnson Air worked with Touchmark Retirement Communities for Touchmark at Coffee Creek in Edmond, Oklahoma. Johnson Air provided design build services and value added engineering for the newest expansion.

The Coffee Creek Community showcases Touchmark’s commitment to environmental sustainability by sourcing 100% of power from wind, using high-efficiency appliances, native plants, and LED & CFL lighting. The HVAC system would be no exception to the green trend. Johnson Air provided a Daikin VRF system, one of the most efficient heating and air conditioning systems available. Recognizing the unique requirements of a retirement community, where some residents may desire cooling while others desire heating; Johnson Air engineered a system that allows for a the facility to be operated from a single equipment platform that can meet the comfort needs of all residents.

The project included 70+ systems for individual patient care rooms, common areas, and dining facilities.
